Kirsty - Illustrator

This is where I put my doodles/fanart/photos of things I like. I'm not a photographer, but I do like to collect interesting things, and some people take offence if I try to remove their doors.

Nomi made this layout lovely for me, because she is amazing.

Recently I’ve discussed with my friend about the lack of strong female leads in fiction… especially fantasy/sci-fi/childrens books (since those are the genres we read most). We’ve been trying to list them to see how many we can think of. If you can contribute, please reply here! :D

Ideally we’re looking for ones that are strong/have abnormal abilities without a tragic past to trigger it.

Here are a few so far:

Buffy

Maximum Ride

Lara Croft (made for men though, let’s face it)

Alexia Tarabotti (The Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carriger)

Agatha Heterodyne from Girl Genius

…those are off the top of my head, and it was a little hard. Go!
